The SLTV StarSeries, known for hosting high stake tournaments in Dota 2, have decided to add Valve's newest edition to the Counter Strike franchise for the fourth SLTV Season. As the third season came to a close in the end of October, the organizers are now ready with details concerning the fourth instalment of the popular tournament series including prize purse and the list of invited teams.
In the upcoming season we will see 16 of Europes best teams duke it out in order to secure spots for the offline finals. The finals will be held in the famous Kiev Cybersports Arena from December 20-23 and will have four teams in attendance. The online qualifier will kick off with one single group and will send the Top 4 from the group-stage straight to the lan finals.

The LAN finals will feature a double-elimination bracket with both semi-finals played best-of-three while the grand final will be played in an unorthodox best-of-five format. It comes as a little surprise that teams such as the ESWC champions from NIP-Gaming, the tournaments runner-ups, Team VeryGames, and other top tier squads have received invitations for the tournament:

The winners of the tournament will take home $6,000, while the runner-ups will have to settle with $3,000. The complete prize break down can be found below.
The season will kick off on November 8 and you can as always expect full coverage at ESPlanet.net.
