Through a simultaneous announcement by both Starladder TV and NiP-Gaming's Facebook page it has come to the community's attention that the arguably top CS:GO team will not be able to take part in the first ever CS:GO StarSeries season. According to the SLTV report, the Swedes won't be able to participate due to Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund having personal problems. This hasn't been confirmed or denied by NiP-Gaming as an official statement regarding the reason is still to be issued. With Alesund being a key player in the team and NiP not being able to field an adequate stand-in for such a short time, they've decided to pull out of the tournament. The Swedes were the main favorite to win this tournament after their previous showings at ESWC and Dreamhack Valencia.
Obviously, we are proud to participate in a tournament of this magnitude because of it's excellent reputation in other disciplines, the prize money and the level of the participants.Recently, we have had some difficulties in the team because we couldn't practise properly, but with those problems fading away we are looking forward to preparing for the upcoming tournament.Without a doubt, we have a combative attitude, since the boys really want to prove themselves. Additional interest is fueled by the upcoming game against Virtus.pro because we've been measuring our forces in the national CS:GO scene with them, but sadly, we have never succeeded.I wholeheartedly believe in my guys and I am sure that we will be able to show ourselves worthy of the spot.
