After scepticism from the team about switching to CS:GO, Na'Vi finally decided to take the plunge with the rest of the CS 1.6 pro community and are confirmed to be entering the next SLTV StarSeries season.
The team who have secured over $200,000 in prize money over their reign on 1.6 have never beaten around the bush about their opinion of CS:GO, but with 1.6 being dead competitively, the team had 2 choices, retire or evolve, and luckily for Counter-Strike fans everywhere, they chose the latter.
The event in Kiev which will be between December 20th and 23rd also features teams like Virtus pro and ESC, but will not feature currently world champions NiP as Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund is undergoing surgery during the lan.
This event will be one to keep a close eye on with legendary teams like this facing off, this is also the point in CS:GO's history where we may see NiP knocked off their podium in place of Na'Vi, but we'll have to wait until 2013 before we see the teams go head to head.
