Curse To Not Attend ESEA LAN; Frozt As Stand In For DreamHack

Posted 13 November 2012 at 23:52
North American team, Curse, will not be attending ESEA LAN, and will be attending DreamHack with a stand in.

Number one seeded North American squad, Team Curse, will not be attending the ESEA Season 12 Invite LAN due to their fifth player Jeff "emong" Anderson fracturing his wrist in an unrelated accident.  With Anderson out, and the ESEA roster rules in effect, Curse will not be able to field five players for the event.  With Curse having already to attend with a player they have released earlier, in the form of Zach "TM" Miller, due to a fallout with the team, Curse was already behind in terms of attendance.

With Anderson being out indefinitely, Curse have also announced that they will use the Dont Trust Anyone awper Carey "frozt" Kertenian as a stand in for DreamHack Winter 2012.  Kertenian has attended a number of international LANs in the past, primarily in Counter-Strike: Source, and could very well be a valuable asset to the team at the end.  This would be the second newest player for the team, albeit a stand in in Kertenian, not long before the event, when they picked up the infamous North American rifle Todd "angerWilliams exactly one week ago.

The Curse DreamHack 2012 lineup will be:
 Michael "Michael3D" Wilbanks
 Preston "juv3nile" Dornon
 Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
 Todd "anger" Williams
 Carey "frozt" Kertenian

It is unclear whether or not this might be a permanent addition, or whether Anderson would heal fast and be able to play once more.  ESPlanet will update, whenever any news is available.
