As reported earlier today, Western Wolves were to sign a soon-to-be-revealed Korean StarCraft II Terran player. Tonight it has been announced that the new player is the former New Star HoSeo player Ju "Sting" Hoon who will be the first Korean player to link up with the European based organization. The 18-year-old Korean has posted several impressive results in the past. Back in January, during the KSL Team League January, Sting managed to overcome ForGG, Illusion, Luvsic and InCa in his team's match versus oGs.
The player has been teamless since August 10, but with a spot in the Code A as well as a spot in the upcoming IGN ProLeague Season 5, Sting caught the eye of one of the most promising upcoming European organizations, Western Wolves.
The player's new home has released the following video in addition to the official post:
Florent Dauvister of Western Wolves said the following about their newest recruit:
"We have been looking to recruit a new Terran in Western Wolves as well as expand our line-up outside of Europe for a while now. It became very apparent to us that adding a Korean player to our line-up would be a very good addition to the team. Sting is a perfect pick for us, he is very talented, has a lot of potential and is a very friendly player who will fit perfectly in our line-up. We wish him the very best of luck in our organisation."
Ju "Sting" Hoon added:
"I am very glad to be joining such a presitigious org like WW! After looking for so long, I am glad to find a home that fits me so well. I am confident for the future, and hopefully we can all grow a lot together."
With the addition of Sting, Western Wolves have also announced that they have teamed up with the player's former team, New Star HoSeo, who will provide housing for Western Wolves' Korean player. Sting will make his debut under the Western Wolves banner next week as he flies out to Singapore to compete at the upcoming IEM stop.
