Ever since making the switch to CS:GO back in August, one of Russia's finest sides, zNation, has been fairly active in various online tournaments such as the EMS, SLTV and more. Currently holding second place in the SLTV StarLadder group, the Russian side has taken several teams by surprise as they have won five of their eight matches thus far. The team, sorrounding Nikita "fabi" Kvochkin, will make their first international apparenace in CS:GO as they will be flying out to Prague in order to attend the $30,000 Mind Sports Festival in just about one week.
zNations manager, Pavel "MoHApX" Pimonov, said the following to ESPlanet.net:
We are very pleased that we will travel to Prague for a really great tournament - Esports Heaven Prague LAN. This is the first LAN tournament of such a high level for our new team in CS:GO, and the guys try to get in the highest possible shape before this trip. Unfortunately, we had two substitutions in our team roster during the last month, but we hope for the best. At least, we will try to show a good game and not to disappoint our fans. Cheer for us!
Having zNation confirmed for the event, the field of teams now features a total of five sides, including Team VeryGames who will try to clinch their first international gold medal. The tournament will run from December 1-4. and feature a total of eight teams, of which three are still to be announced.
